Plans for a new 210-bed hotel have been submitted with Highland Council.

The hotel will be in the city centre on a new street created from the existing pedestrian link from Rose Street.

The application has been submitted after months of planning, a public exhibition and meetings with council planners and the Inverness Design Review Panel.

Original plans to create two separate hotels on the site, one seven-storey and the other six, were changed after advice from these consultations.

Westview Consultancy Ltd is part of the development team and hopes that the application will reach planning committee stage for a decision in three months.

Inverness has been exceptionally busy this year with the entire city fully booked on many dates, a new hotel will help accommodate the sudden demand for rooms.

We look forward to sharing more information as they become available
