Experienced hotelier, Ina Davies, will manage the brand new hotel, which will see the Courtyard by Marriott brand makes its debut in the city.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the hotel industry, Ina will oversee the launch and opening of the airport hotel which is being brought to Inverness by owner, Molo Hotels, and operator, RBH.

As well as spending 10 years as General Manager at Holiday Inn Express Inverness, Ina has also led the teams at Pentahotel Inverness and Golf View Hotel & Spa. Her most recent role saw her take charge of the food and beverage team at Inverness College.
The new multi-million pound, 130-bedroom modular build will be situated within Inverness Airport Business Park, affording quick, easy access to Inverness Airport. It will also boast thoughtfully designed guestrooms, as well as meetings and fitness facilities, a bar and bistro.

Contractor Polcom Construction is already well under way on the site adjacent to the hotel in preparation for opening later this year.
Ina said: “I’m thrilled to have been appointed to the role of General Manager on what will be an exciting addition to the Inverness hotel scene. Not only is it the first Courtyard by Marriott to come to the city, but it also marks the first new-build hotel in the area for a number of years.
“I look forward to welcoming guests when we finally open our doors later this year, and to offering them nothing less than first-class service and an exceptional experience, with all of the warmth and hospitality that Inverness is renowned for.”

Neil Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at RBH, said: “Ina brings a wealth of experience as we prepare to open a flagship hotel in Inverness – one of a number of new openings across our portfolio this year ¬– and we’re delighted to welcome her to the RBH family.”
Inverness Airport general manager Graeme Bell, said: “Passengers will soon be able to enjoy the comforts of the Courtyard by Marriott as part of their journey plans and we are delighted Ina will be leading the team at Inverness. I am sure guests will have an enjoyable and comfortable stay courtesy of one of world’s leading hospitality brands.”
