Luxury Highland hotel, Ness Walk, has received an official five-star accreditation from VisitScotland.

The hotel, located in the vibrant centre of Inverness has been recognised for outstanding quality of guest experience, as well the development of a luxury product. The new 47-bedroom hotel, which opened in July, provides luxury accommodation for guests visiting the city and is an opulent addition to the bustling Highland tourist scene.

The hotel is complete with fine-dine restaurant, Torrish, which uses the best local ingredients curated to form an exquisite menu with a modern twist. With relaxed, friendly surroundings, the menu offers dishes packed with curiosity, adventure and discovery.

Originally a 19th century house, the historic Grade B listed building was lovingly restored and transformed in a £7 million renovation. The hotel has blended original features with a contemporary twist, complemented by first-class service.

The award was presented in a ceremony at the hotel by Visit Scotland Chief Executive Malcolm Roughead.

VisitScotland Chief Executive Malcolm Roughead said:

“Congratulations to Ness Walk on this fantastic achievement. Ness Walk is the perfect example of the quality experience on offer to visitors to Inverness, and a great addition to the accommodation on offer in the city. Delivering a quality experience that meets, and exceeds, visitor expectations is crucial in making Scotland a must-visit, must-return destination.”

CEO of Kingsmills Group, Tony Story said:

“It is a absolute delight for Ness Walk to be awarded a five-star grading by Visit Scotland. As part of The Kingsmills Group’s ongoing commitment to providing high quality accommodation, dining and event space to the Highlands this is a step in the right direction for both the hotel and Inverness.
