Transforming 14 of their Junior and Deluxe Suites, the refurbishment is part of an ongoing programme of investment, culminating in a £30million overall spend which will include a luxury spa, glamping pods and outdoor pursuits, due to open within the next 18 months.
The spacious suites and ensuite bathrooms have been upgraded, some with rolltop baths and large walk-in showers. Scottish furnishings and design are at the heart with lounge areas and dining rooms that seat up to 6 guests where the hotel’s chefs can deliver dishes directly to the guests. All areas of the hotel have now been refurbished including the creation of a new function bar for events and weddings.
Since being acquired by Stellar Asset Management, Murrayshall has held ambitious plans to reposition the hotel into one of Scotland’s leading country hotels and golf resorts.

The hotel has been shortlisted for 4 awards in the last few weeks alone, including as a regional finalist in the Scottish Thistle Awards for ‘Best Hotel Experience’ and ‘Best Hotel Restaurant’ with Boutique Hotelier magazine.
In July, the hotel was granted permission to build a new 17-bay driving range, teaching academy and Pro Shop within the estate and work has started, ready for completion in Spring of next year. Recent improvements at the golf course have included a redesign of a number of golf holes to make the golf experience rival some of the best courses in the area.
