Lucky Couple’s Delight After Winning Wedding at Perthshire Hotel

Jillian Adamson, 26, and Ian Davidson, 29, were the lucky winners of the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Huntingtower’s ‘Win a Wedding’ competition.

The young couple, who met 8 years ago, won the prize worth £2,500 which will see them marry on September 19 next year.

The package caters for up to 50 guests at the Crieff Road country house hotel, which the happy couple won after writing 100 words about why they deserved the prize.

Jillian said: “We’re absolutely overwhelmed to win and can’t thank the hotel enough for the prize.

“It was the happiest day of my life when I said ‘yes’ but this just makes it even more special and we can’t wait to celebrate in such an amazing setting.”

Jillian, a student nurse, and Ian, a mechanical engineering student have a one-year-old daughter called Arianna.

Guests at their wedding will be offered a free glass of prosecco upon arrival and will be treated to canapés and live music as they are given the opportunity to explore Huntingtower Perth's grounds.

Huntingtower Perth offers a wide range of wedding reception styles, from simple and intimate gatherings to more grand celebrations.

“I did the classic Simon Cowell thing as well by telling her ‘I’m afraid it’s not good news…it’s amazing news’.

“So this probably didn’t help while she was in such a quiet environment. We’re all thrilled to have such a great young couple win the prize.
