Our digital marketing initiative was developed in response to a statement by Marc Crothall, CEO of the Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA), that became the headline of an article published by The Herald Scotland newspaper on the 2nd June 2020: 'We need all of Scotland to become ambassadors for tourism'.
In line of all the current and future challenges imposed by COVID-19, we believe tourism businesses in the entire Scottish region need to embrace a new marketing strategy. While in the past most tourism businesses focused on promoting their services and offerings to a wider audience trying to differentiate themselves from the competition, now is the time to support and promote not only your services, your suppliers and competition but also all businesses that rely on tourism in your region..
How can you get involved?
We offer our platform throughout 2020 and 2021 to every hotel in Scotland to promote their news and offers completely free of charge, as a way to attract national and international visitors to their region.
