Hero Enterprise of India, which represents the business interests of its founder, Sunil Kant Munjal and his family, has formed a joint venture with Catalyst Capital to invest £500 million on hotels, serviced apartments and hospitality-led projects in the UK and Ireland.

Mr Sunil Kant Munjal is a second-generation member of the Munjal Family and a founder promoter of the Hero Group, India’s premier automotive manufacturing group that has evolved from being the world’s largest bicycle maker to the largest two-wheeler maker. 

 

Headquartered in London with offices in Frankfurt, Paris, Manchester and Warsaw, Catalyst Capital is a European investment and asset management company. Established in 1996, Catalyst Capital structures, purchases, develops and manages a significant portfolio of commercial real estate in Europe. Since its inception, Catalyst Capital has invested more than €7.0 billion in nine countries and currently has approximately €2.0 billion of assets under management. 

 

The Hero Enterprise Investment Office represents the investment arm of Hero Enterprise. The Office manages a diverse portfolio of futuristic and sustainable businesses that are not just profitable but also socially meaningful. It has invested in several new-age and traditional ventures in areas such as Housing & Real Estate, Health, Wellness, Hospitality, F&B, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail and Consumer Facing Businesses. 

 

Hero Catalyst Hospitality Ventures’ development team comes with significant experience of developing hotels for some of the most recognised brands and the team is already delivering in excess of 1,000 hotel and serviced apartment rooms in Manchester and Edinburgh.
