Knock Castle Hotel & Spa has scooped another award to add to their growing collection.
The Crieff hotel’s Rooftop Restaurant took the top spot in the Hotel Restaurant of the Year category at the Creative Oceanic Food Awards Scotland 2018 which was held in Glasgow this week.
There was double cause for celebration as the hotel won the Central regional section and then went on to win the overall prize at the Creative Oceanic Awards, beating off stiff competition from all over Scotland.
Delighted to accept the certificate and trophy was Jason Henderson, Knock Castle’s owner and head chef, “I was over the moon that we won the regional section and didn’t expect to take the top prize. We were in a tough category and we were thrilled to just be nominated along with some of the other hotel restaurants. We’ve had a fantastic year so far and it’s all down to the hard work and dedication of the team at Knock Castle.”
He added “I was also really pleased to see one of my local suppliers, Fish in Crieff, win an award too…it was a lucky night for the town!”
