The limited edition ‘Delishy Dishy Rishi Burger’ is available now until Friday 24 July across some of the group’s hotel restaurants, which include independent properties as well as global brands.
Some of Cairn Group's hotels are in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Stirling.
Tying in with the burger being low VAT (the Chancellor’s summer economic statement set out that VAT on food in the hospitality sector will be reduced to five per cent from 15 July until January), it is also low in fat.
Costing £10, The Delishy Dishy Rishi Burger is a chargrilled chicken breast with onion, lettuce, tomato, burnt corn, poppyseed slaw and healthy burger sauce in a brioche bun, and served alongside fries.
The Group will also be running a range of offers for diners throughout August as part of the Government’s new ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ discount which it will have access to.
Tina O’Hara, group director of sales at Cairn Group, said:
“The Chancellor’s summer statement showed real support to the hospitality sector to help us bounce back, so we wanted to do something fun to show our appreciation in one of the best ways we know how – through great food! It’s been really encouraging to see people’s confidence in the safety of a hotel stay in the UK and meal out as we’ve welcomed back guests over the last couple of weeks.”
Hospitality, this is why we love you.
