Agent Colliers International sought offers of around £500,000 for the well-located Inverness Guest House.
Acting on behalf of a private client, the Edinburgh office of global real estate advisor, Colliers International has sold the Ballifeary Guest House in Inverness, for an undisclosed sum.
The sellers of the seven-bedroomed guest house were retiring couple Bill and Morag Gilbert who, after a long career in the hospitality trade across the country, were looking to take a step back. Ballifeary Guest House will become the first venture into the hospitality sector for new owners, Fraser Mathieson and Seonaid Campbell. Alistair Letham, a director at Colliers International, commented: “Inverness is a perennially popular destination for a range of visitors – both holidaymakers and business travellers - to the UK’s most northerly city. The popularity of the Ballifeary Guest House, with its central location in Inverness, is easily recognisable and will appeal to a range of customers and business operators alike.”
Colliers International marketed the property for offers of around £500,000.
